Technology Center
Mission Parish School is dedicated to enhancing student learning
utilizing computer technology. Through gifts and endowments
by gracious benefactors and hundreds of hours dedicated by faithful
volunteers, Mission Parish School has been able to maintain a state-of-the-art
technology program that supports the Diocesan curriculum. The 2004-2005
School year premieres a complete update of the school's technology
resources.
New corporate level HP workstations equipped with MS XP Professional
and MS Office 2003 software fill the 21 seat Technology Center where
students in grades 3 through 8 learn how to apply technology to
their life long learning adventure.
The Computer Lab is equipped with workstations to engage students in the new A+ Learning System. The A+ Learning System is a skills assessment and instructional software for math, grammar, and reading comprehension. Other supplemental learning programs include software for keyboarding practice, drawing tools, and creating multi-media assignments. Each classroom has a workstation for the students to participate
in the Accelerated Reader program, A+ Learning System, and class projects.
