We are newly implementing a research-based direct instructional
model software called A+nyWhere Learning System. A+ consists of
an extensive core curriculum based on state and national curriculum
standards. Teachers can assess students based on standards and then
allow A+ to make automatic curriculum suggestions based on mastery.
The A+ system includes study guides, practice tests, mastery tests,
and essay writing. We are using this system in the areas of mathematics, grammar,
and reading comprehension. Individualized, self-paced learning will help
maximize student progress. Over 180 reports will allow teachers
to manage the student learning process and receive instant feedback
on class or student performance by standards, objectives, or skills
mastered.
